John joined Cross Coastal Advisors in 2015 after successfully growing his business at Commonwealth Financial Group in Burlington, Vermont. He relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, and now continues to expand his planning practice and leverages his extensive professional network to benefit his dynamic client base. He works with entities ranging from business owners in the trades, families with young children, and individuals actively engaged in various supplemental business opportunities, including real estate. John's enthusiasm for comprehensive planning is demonstrated through implementation of progressive investment and risk management strategies on behalf of his clients.
John recognizes that financial planning can be an emotional journey. After experiencing the sudden death of his mother during childhood, he understands firsthand the importance of being properly educated around financial planning strategies and the role education plays in securing future financial independence. His unique perspective and experience make him an excellent resource for his clients as he guides them in preparing for life's next steps and uncertainties. He seeks to properly educate his clients by recommending circumstance-appropriate financial strategies while connecting with them on both a professional and personal level.
John resides in Boston with his wife Emily, dog Juniper, and cats Tina and Gus. He enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and exploring new business opportunities. John's passion for travel has taken him to 48 out of the 50 United States. He is a recipient of the 2021 NAIFA 4 Under 40 Award* and proud Eagle Scout, embodying the values of integrity, service, and leadership in both his professional and personal life.
